| One can see the tower from anywhere in the Las
Vegas Valley, coming down from Spring Mountain, and just about everywhere
else near Las Vegas. Taking years to complete, the Stratosphere

| The original owner-builder, Bob Stupak,
struggled for years with financing and when finally nearing the completion
of the hotel was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He
survived to see the opening of The Stratosphere. This hotel is a
