| MAIN STREET STATION RV Park -
formerly THE CALIFORNIA HOTEL RV PARK |

Main Street Station RV Park is 1/2 Block North of the California Hotel. The
entrance is on Main Street (drive North past the MAIN STREET STATION
HOTEL.) The park entrance is one block North of the Main Street
Station Hotel, on the East side of Main St. |
| Registration check in is at the Main Street Station
Hotel. If you arrive after hours there are registration forms in a
drop box at the park entrance. |
| The Main Street Station RV Park is just a remnant of what it
used to be. Full electric, water and sewer hook-ups are still
available, however there is no cable or phone service. Guests can
use the swimming pool at the California Hotel. There are showers (men's and
women's) and a laundry room. The park is well patrolled by security,
in fact you see their SUV's drive by about every 1/2 hour. The rates
make up for the lack of amenities - A VIP at the MSS told me that the park
rates have increased a bit, slightly up from the $15.00 per night rate to around $16.00 per night. (This
price was confirmed on November 11, 2008.) |
| If you are on a budget or you just like to be near the
downtown action, this RV park is AOK. Walk 1/2 block through the
Main Street Station's parking lot to downtown hotels. Walk a block
more to the Fremont Street Experience. Click to link to the LVBC

| Sam's Town RV Park on Boulder Highway is a family
oriented park, on (what used to be ) the outskirts of the city, in
Henderson, Nevada. It is just a twenty minute drive from the STRIP. |

FULL hook-ups including cable, phone/computer are
available for about *$30.16 +
tax etc. per night.
A clean, family swimming pool and laundry facilities
are located at the center of the park. |

Walk across a parking lot to the adjoining
Sam's
Town Hotel and Casino, with full Gaming, Multiplex Movie Theaters,
Bowling Alley,
The Firelight Buffet, restaurants, bars, Mystic Falls (an indoor park)
and more. |

*I stayed at the RV Park for about $21.00 per day. The other
Sam's Town park has a weekly rate of about $100.00 per week. I
believe this rate is good through September (call.) |

understanding is that hotel expansion is responsible... He said that a few
spaces remain... |

| The Silverton RV Park on
Blue Diamond
Road and I-15, is a way favorite of the Las Vegas Buffet Club. In
quickly disappearing "Open Air Country" you can breath fresh air in this
park on the outskirts of Las Vegas (although the city is closing in.)

| The RV Park is just across
the street from the
Silverton Hotel Casino. Each RV space has a patch of grass, a few feet of log fencing, telephone/computer lines, TV
jacks and all of the
other necessary hookups. The R.V. Park features a pool for
adults and a pool for kids (with fountains, slides, a water "fort" and more.)
This is an excellent family park. Shuttle and bus service are available. |
