Turks Restaurant nestled in the bay in Dana Point, CA
is a picture perfect seaside tavern owned by the late Hollywood strongman &
actor Harry "Turk" Varteresian. Mr. Varteresian has passed; his
daughter runs the restaurant now. |

Lots of weathered wood and hundreds of photographs on the
walls (of Turk Varteresian & pals including Humphrey Bogart and other
Hollywood Icons,) a small overhead aquarium, and the coup de' grace: window
views of the bay are some of the reasons that make Turks a swell tavern.
Other reasons include Bloody Marys, sandwiches, burgers, soups, full
dinners, and the well worn, copper bar top. |
