EAT |
- The CAL does not have a full Las Vegas style
buffet...the
Market Street Cafe has a small salad-bar/buffet
that changes throughout the day.
Usually it's a mixed-greens salad, Jell-O, Ambrosia, pudding etc. The Market Street Cafe
offers excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner specials, and a great
Late/Early breakfast. Several restaurants offer Asian
specials (see below.) Click one of the following links for more
information.
- At the
Redwood Bar & Grill "a
gorgeous wood interior combines with live piano music to create an
ambiance that has become popular with locals and visitors alike."
- PASTA PIRATE - "Beautifully
capturing the essence of an old cannery, the Pasta Pirate is the
perfect spot to dine on some succulent fresh seafood."
- ALOHA SPECIALTIES
- "Featuring
teriyaki plates, stews and curries, give yourself a treat and try
Aloha Specialties."
- CALIFORNIA CLUB - "All your
favorite quick bites are available at the California Club Snack
Bar."
Fast Food taste treat.
Just inside the Southeast
entrance of the 'Cal,' there is a small food counter (The
California Club) that serves burgers, fries, Asian dishes, sodas etc.
There is a simple Rice and Chile bowl
(Just a few bucks) that
is superb, especially when 'doctored' with a dollop of ketchup,
Kagome Tonkatsu sauce
(on the tables) and Tabasco. Albeit a very simple dish, the memory
of this bowl of chili and rice will install itself in your food memory
bank and you will have to repeat. "It's the Asian sauce."
