.I was looking for something else and I found this, wow… Sneak a peek at the true character of The Hardest Working Man In Showbusiness, as he was called in life. (James Brown passed away on December 25, 2006, after a weeklong battle with pneumonia. He was 73 years old. James Brown is unquestionably one of the most influential musical pioneers of the last half-century.)

There’s an ongoing piano solo by the man himself weaving through the last part (around 6:18) of the song. It’s a window into his soul if you will; It’s totally abstract: sometimes atonal, sometimes nonsensical, sometimes automatistic, always out of the box and always good. He’s much more playful than I ever thought he’d be, it’s crazy good. I recommend earphones…

I’m not certain what it means, I’m not an expert in Jive Culture, but I’m pretty sure it means that Papa won’t take crap off of anyone.
